I worked in business development and sales in Hungary in the IT, logistics, and fleet management sectors. During my seven years in London, I ran a business supporting Hungarian companies entering the UK market, during which time I became familiar with the peculiarities of English business life and typical communication techniques. Upon my return, I started teaching business English, and then established EnglishHUB, where we teach business English communication to our clients’ employees with a team of teachers, including native speakers. I completed my studies in Szolnok, specialising in Foreign Trade, and at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where I obtained an MBA.

I worked for large international companies for 23 years. I started my career in customer service and key account management, and after 2007, I took on team management challenges as the head of business development and customer service. In addition, I developed my systems approach through project and process management and business analysis tasks. One of my favourite topics is the development of efficiency tailored to individuals and situations. I graduated as an English and mathematics teacher at Nyíregyháza Teacher Training University.
ANNA KÁLLAI
EFL Specialist
I obtained a degree in Spanish and foreign trade in Hungary, then spent four years in England in a wonderful suburb of London. I immediately found a job in education, and later taught as a CELTA-certified instructor in the EFL department at Kingston College. I have been working in a multinational environment in Hungary for years, but teaching is always on my mind—someone always needs me. As part of the EnglishHUB team, I contribute (mostly) professional articles to help us achieve our goals.

I have been teaching English as a foreign language for almost 20 years now. Having taught in elementary schools, a secondary school, at companies and even in a prison has prepared me for every situation I can encounter during my lessons. I myself learned English the old school way – mostly from books and with a now outdated method – but I am aware of the needs and language learning preferences of the new generation too. Whole classes, little groups, individual lessons? It doesn’t matter, conversation is the focus of my lessons as I believe we usually learn a language to be able to speak it to share our ideas with foreigners.

I am from Vancouver, Canada. I have been passionate about improving non-native English speakers’ English language skills, since I moved to France in 2010 and assisted French students as they studied for the TOEIC. I have worked in a variety of professional roles including B2B sales, project manager, etc. in both Canada and England. I studied Business Administration, and Psychology and currently, I am completing my Masters of Clinical and Health Psychology at ELTE University and teaching business-level English. I bring a friendly, accepting, professional, and fun approach to my classes. I try to create an environment that feels safe for my students to be creative and freely express themselves.
KRISZTIÁN MEGYERI
Teacher
I was born in Hungary but have lived in the United States from the age of 12, and speak English on a native level. I have degrees in Environmental Science and landscape architecture, but teaching has also been a big part throughout my adult life. I have tutored English to both kids and adults (in person and online) at various language skills and in a range of fields from general English, to business and field-specific English. I have worn many hats in life from musician, carpenter, photographer, architect, and (of course) teacher. I enjoy getting to know my students and learning and sharing cultural traditions, and I look forward to meeting you in class!
